Dayara Bugyal Trek
The Bugyals are the famous grasslands for the shepherds here for centuries. This offers scenic beauty that one gets amazed at. In such Bugyals is Dayara Bugyal, the piece of heaven cut out from the real one. Dayara is reachable from Uttarkashi that takes a short lovely trek. This will be your journey for the next few days. Although the trek is short, it is equally rewarding. This trek is also perfect for beginners.
Locally Dayara means a circular patch of land that has grassy turf. This has the trees of oak, maple, etc. The walk through the pastures of this land and the forests will transport you to an utter serenity from the daily hustle-bustle. As you walk in these lands, you get to see the fascinating mountain peaks of Gangotri, Srikanth, etc.
The fantastic panorama you will get on your fourth day while going for the summit of Dyara Bugyal Trek. The top has many meadows meeting that includes the Giddara Bugyal. There is also a lake on the trail which has fresh water and originates from Assi Ganga. In summers the place is strewn with wildflowers of yellow color.
