How To Reach Gulmarg

Taxis: Taxis are the most convenient and comfortable mode of transportation. It takes 2 hours to cover this 60 kms from the Srinagar city to reach Gulmarg. The fare differs from INR 2800-4600 per day depending on the type of vehicle you choose like swift sedan or Innova or Tempo traveler if you are traveling in a group or with family members. Prices may vary depending on the season as well if it is peak time or off season but the journey will be a hassle-free journey. Buses: Another affordable way to travel from Gulmarg to Srinagar is by bus. The Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) operates regular bus services between Srinagar and Gulmarg that take around 2 hours to reach. The Jammu Tawi Railway Station is the closest train station that is situated 300 kilometers from Gulmarg.
