The Sheikh-ul-Alam International Airport is almost 15 kilometers away from the capital city that is, Srinagar. Apart from this airport, you have another option that is, the Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport of Leh. Though the latter airport would be quite far from Srinagar but, you can cover this distance by cab or taxi. It takes almost 10 hours for you to reach Srinagar.
