How to Reach Sonmarg from Pahalgam

By Bus: Travelling via buses from Pahalgam to Sonmarg is the most affordable option. The journey is divided into multiple parts as there’s no direct bus operating between these two towns.

Catch a bus from Pahalgam bus stand and reach Anantnag in about an hour or two. Another bus from Anantnag Bus stand to reach Srinagar. Lastly, get on a bus either from Srinagar General’s Bus stand ( Batamaloo) or Lal Chowk to reach Sonmarg in 2-3 hours.

The total fare would be around INR 300-500 which is quite reasonable for such a long journey.
