Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla + Local Sightseeing

The journey begins from the bustling city of Chandigarh, moving steadily into the cooler heights of Shimla. The drive unfolds through winding mountain roads, pine forests, and charming roadside villages. Upon arrival in Shimla, the British colonial charm is immediately evident. 

Explore The Ridge and Mall Road, ideal for leisurely strolls, shopping, and enjoying local snacks. Visit the historic Christ Church, the Viceregal Lodge with its regal architecture, and take in the panoramic views from Scandal Point. The pleasant climate and the colonial-era ambiance create an inviting introduction to the hills. 

As the evening sets in, enjoy the cool breeze and misty air that define Shimla’s serene charm.

Today’s excursion takes you to Kufri, a scenic hamlet nestled amid cedar woods and snow-capped peaks. Located a short drive from Shimla, Kufri is known for its tranquil natural beauty and adventure activities. 

On reaching Kufri, you can visit the Himalayan Nature Park, home to rare species like the snow leopard and musk deer.
