Day 1-2: Arrive in Katra, Vaishno Devi Yatra: Arrive in Katra and check in, then rest. Begin the Yatra the same evening or early next morning. Choose trek, pony, or helicopter darshan based on your preference.
Day 3: Rest Day in Katra: A buffer day to recover from the trek before the onward journey — highly recommended rather than travelling straight after.
Day 4: Katra to Srinagar by Train: Board the Vande Bharat Express, cross the Chenab Bridge, arrive in Srinagar by early afternoon. Evening Dal Lake shikara ride.

- March–May: Blossom season in Kashmir, comfortable Yatra weather
- September–November: Autumn colours in Kashmir, pleasant Yatra conditions, fewer crowds
- December–February: Snow in Kashmir, but the Yatra trek gets colder and can be more demanding

Tips for This Combo Trip
- Do Vaishno Devi first, Kashmir second. The trek is physically demanding and easier to handle at the start of your trip.
- Build in a rest day between the Yatra and the train journey. Don’t travel immediately after the trek.
