Visit Kokernag Spring

Kokernag spring is famous for containing waters that suppress hunger and thirst. It seems to have some medicinal power of healing indigestion. It is the highlight of the place. A picnic by the shores is a must-thing to do. There exists a Tout Fish Hatchery near the spring where trout fishes of all ages and sizes are reared. By road: Anantnag to Kokernag: Kokernag is located about 35 kilometres away from Anantnag district and a road trip is completely possible. 

Achabal to Kokernag: 17 kilometres separate Achabal from Kokernag and only half an hour is the time taken to reach there. 

Srinagar to Kokernag: The distance between Srinagar and Kokernag is about 70 kilometres, which will take approximately 1 hour to cover the distance.
