Detailed Itinerary for 7 Days Taxi Package in Kashmir

After taking flight from your city, the first day of the trip marks your arrival in the capital city, Srinagar. Our representative with a cab or a taxi will be there at the airport to reach your accommodation at the right time. Driving through the scenic routes and also hearing the honking of the vehicles on the roads, you will reach your hotel, ready to welcome you. Since you have a long night on the flight, take some rest in the afternoon after having a delicious lunch. From your hotel, the driver will again pick you and take you to serene Dal Lake for the famous Shikara ride. The whole lake is casted by different shades of hues in the evening and its beauty doubles. After taking a light stroll by the Bouvenyard road, near the banks of the lake, you can call it a day. The driver will again drop you at your hotel. Enjoy a delicious dinner at your hotel and get a good sleep. 

Night Stay in Srinagar. 

Your first day at sightseeing and second day in Kashmir starts with a hearty breakfast. Once you are all ready to conquer the rest of the day, exploring one of the oldest cities of the valley. You’ll discover the gems of Srinagar with the driver for the entire day. As you are picked from the doorstep of your hotel, the first destination is the Mughal Gardens. The lush Mughal Gardens of Srinagar are globally famous and they are unmissable when visiting here. Some of the famous Mughal Gardens include Chashma Shahi Garden, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh are the best places to visit in Srinagar. From the gardens, the ride will progress further to Pari Mahal, which is literally a palace in visual form. It  is one of the most antique and stunning places of the capital city. Lastly, a drive to the Shankaracharya Temple will take place. While you have to hike to the top of the Temple, you’ll be dropped at the starting point. Once you have offered your prayers and hiked back, you’ll be taken to your hotel again. 

Night stay in Srinagar. 

On the third day, the drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam starts. Pahalgam is a distance of about 88 kilometres from Srinagar and it will take you around 2 hours to cover the journey. The drive takes place via the Srinagar-Pahalgam Highway also known as Anantnag-Pahalgam Highway (NH501). The condition of the highway is quite good and it’s mostly a straight drive. There are some ethereal sightseeing places on this route. Starting with the Manasbal Lake, it is every bird-watcher’s heaven. The varieties fascinate tourists and people often spend some time here. Next, the drive will take a halt at Bat Making factories at Sangam Village. There are various apple orchards seen on the way to Pahalgam. They are spread in a large area. In the harvesting season, you can visit here and taste the fresh apple juice. Lastly Saffron Fields can be seen in sight. The largest Saffron field of Asia falls right in the Srinagar-Pahalgam route. You’ll reach Pahalgam by evening. 

Night Stay in Pahalgam. 

The fourth day will be dedicated entirely to sightseeing in Pahalgam. The drive will start and the first destination would be the valleys of the town. Starting with the Aru Valley, famous as a basecamp for Tarsar Marsar Trek. Here, the Lidder river flows gushing and a range of activities are available. Those include river rafting, boating, etc. The place is beginner-friendly and a novice rafter can do it with a brief instruction. Next the ride will move a bit further taking you to Betaab Valley and Chandanwari. You can reminisce about your Bollywood dreams here by clicking pictures. Adding thrill to your trip, you can experience the fun of zip-lining here while enjoying the aerial views of the Valley. Lastly, pony rides in Baisaran Valley are unmissable. The valley isn’t accessible through taxis or cabs. You can either trek there or hire a pony. The pony rides in Pahalgam, taking you to Baisaran Valley- mini Switzerland of Kashmir give you a surreal experience. After the sightseeing tour ends, you’ll be taken back to your hotel. 

Night Stay in Pahalgam. 

On the fifth day of the trip, the driver will not only drive you to Gulmarg from Pahalgam but also guide you in exploring the places, do some adventures. The distance between Pahalgam and Gulmarg is about 140 kilometres and it would take you approximately 4 hours to cover the distance. As you are close to the town, Drung Waterfall would be covered. It is extremely beautiful especially in winter, when it freezes completely. As you have reached Gulmarg, the first place you’ll be driven to would be Gondola rides. In the first phase, from the initial spot, you will reach Kongdori, one of the stunning spots for many sports activities like skiing in Gulmarg and Snowboarding. From Kongdori, the next stop is at Apharwat Peak in the second phase. More places which you will cover after the ride are St. Mary’s Church, Maharaja Palace, Maharani Temple and Strawberry Valley. Lastly, the driver will take you to the local markets of Gulmarg where you can buy souvenirs and gifts. By late evening, the driver will drop you to your hotel in Srinagar.

Almost 125 kilometres separate Gulmarg from Sonamarg and it again will take about 3-4 hours to reach there. The drive will start early so that both road trips and sightseeing in the town can be covered in a single day. The tour will start by exploring the Sindh Valley and Sindh river where plenty of activities are available like river rafting and boating. After that, the drive will move forward and the next stop would be Thajiwas Glacier. Thajiwas Glacier is the best places to visit in Sonamarg which is only 4-5 kilometres from the main town. In winters, tourists often come here for sledding and snowboarding, while camping in summer. At the Zojila Pass, the zero point is one of the thrilling places where the driver will take you. It is the same spot that connects Kashmir Valley to Ladakh. After coming back to your hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner and call it a day. 

Night Stay in Srinagar. 

On the last day, the driver will drive you back from Sonamarg to Srinagar. If you have some time left before catching your flight, you can do some other things in Srinagar.
