How To Reach Gulmarg To Pahalgam

You can travel from Gulmarg to Pahalgam by road by following these routes whichever is suitable.

Route 1- NH44 via Tangmarg and Awantipora which is nearly 140 kms and takes 4-5 hours to cover. The road condition is also good with Tangmarg market and Awantipora ruins on the way. 

Route 2- goes via Anantnag on the same NH 44 and covers a distance of about 150 km. you will go through Anantnag town on the way. 

Route 3- Srinagar-Phulwama Road that is 152 kms passing through the Pulwama town. 

There are no direct buses available for use as public transport between Pahalgam and Gulmarg. To go to Gulmarg, you will need to ride in a bus to Tangmarg and then continue on to Gulmarg. If Pahalgam is your target, you would have to make travel arrangements to Anantnag and then take another bus to Pahalgam.
