1st route: Srinagar – Qasim Bagh – Pampore – Awantipora – Anantnag – Mattan – Hassan Noor – Aishmuqam – Pahalgam. The distance covered here is 110 kms that takes 3-4 hours to reach and it is a regular route where you will not find any road closures. 

2nd route: Srinagar – Bagh Shork Shah – Awantipora – Malik Gund – Pahalgam (via NH 501). The distance covered here is 136 kms that takes 4 hours to reach beautiful views of mountains, pine forests. 

There is no direct train from Srinagar to Pahalgam. But you can take a train from Srinagar to Anantnag.
